Exponents

In this game I was learning what exponents are and on my first go I got three thousand points. I thought that the evaluating exponents and equations with exponents were easy but the exponents with fractional bases is difficult because I did not understand. Next I would like to learn more about exponents with fractional bases.

On the 30th of October we had to do a mathletics E asttle test. I When I saw my result I was disappointed because I thought that I would improve but obviously I didn’t.  So next time I hope to improve more than now.

Bugs co-ordinates

Walt-Find the co-ordinates.

This game helped me revise my knowledge on co-ordinates. I beat my time by 29 seconds, I finished it in 2 minutes and 1 second. There were 10 co-ordinates that we had to find.The X co-ordinate is the horizontal and the Y is vertical. I found it easy because I knew some of the co-ordinates, because our math teacher Mrs  Ramkolowan helped me. Next I would like to learn more about percentages.

Hello, my name is Salevasa but everyone calls me Vasa. I am going to tell you one thing or another about me. First I am a Tongan girl and I am ten years of age. I have one sister and I have one adopted brother. Their names are Epenesa and Matthew.

I am a year six student at Glen Innes School and I am in room 10. I am good at maths but I sometimes finish last but that is not a bad thing.  My favourite place to go is school because I like doing Maths.

I like to listen to Hip Hop and RnB because it makes the song get into my mind and it’s cool. My favourite singer is Jason Derulo because I like his song wiggle wiggle wiggle.

When I grow up I want to be a police officer because I want to make sure that everyone in new Zealand feel safe everywhere they go.
